National Family Day at the Museum
F@Mu 2016. Games and competitions at the museum
The museums of Trento city taking part in the fourth edition of the National Family Day at the Museum this year are:
- Museo Diocesano Tridentino (Tridentine diocesan museum)
- Castello del Buonconsiglio
- Castel Beseno
- Castel Caldes
- Castel Stenico
- Castel Thun
- S.A.S.S. spazio archeologico sotterraneo del Sas (Tridentum. S.A.S.S. - Underground Archaeological Site SASS)
As to the Tridentine diocesan museum, on the occasion of this special festive event, families will have free admission to the museum and discover the treasures kept in its rooms while playing a game for children and grown ups (but also for grandparents, cousins,...).
Everybody will be given a small kit (conceived for children of different age, from 4 to 12) with questions and riddles, to explore the museum in an active and fun way. A museum educator will be there to answer the children's and grown ups' questions.
On Sunday 9 October the museum is open from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 18.00.
On the occasion of F@Mu 2016 (9 October 2016), all over Italy, museums, foundations and other sites are open for families, offering guided tours, theme games and other special events. The museums taking part are listed in the website of the event www.famigliealmuseo.it
