Think musical

Is it possible to think in musical terms? Usually music is thought of as if it can only be played or heard, while composing seems to be only a mere function. 

On the contrary, it is evident that music is created to transmit a thought. This requires more imagination than fantasy, and it's a matter of prefiguring what's possible rather than of dreaming the impossible.

Composing is indeed a creative act similar to problem solving. Through constant aptitude for logic, music has developed over time the ability to transmit ideas.
