Bella figura (Fine figure)

Bella figura (Fine figure)
by Yasmina Reza
A man and a woman driving in the parking lot of a restaurant: he is trying to convince her to enter, after letting slip that the choice of the place is due to a suggestion of his wife. This spark is the starting point for the narrative that sees the relationships between two couples and an elderly mother intertwined in a crescendo of paradoxical humour. Betrayal is the leitmotif of a play that, as the author, the French Yasmina Reza, explains, does not tell a real story, but "the uncertain and undulating plot of life".
