Curon / Graun - Story of a drowned village
It is one of the two projects that have won the prize OPER.A 20.21 Fringe; daring musical installation by OHT, it tells the story of Curon / Graun, a village in Val Venosta which was submerged by water after the creation of a dam.

In 1950, Curon, a small village in Val Venosta, was evacuated and then completely submerged by water because of the creation of a dam, and the inhabitants' protests were worthless.
This musical installation is a project by OHT (Office for a Human Theatre); it has won the prize OPER.A 20.21 Fringe (together with Gaia), and recounts a dramatic event that weaves together visual and auditory stimuli: the images of the ancient half-submerged bell-tower are accompanied by the musical compositions Fratres and Cantus in memory of Benjamin Britten by Arvo Pärt, performed by the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento.
