War signs

A reflection though contemporary art

exhibition , Art exhibition

The new mass media have transformed our society rapidly in a global sense and have modified the ways of communication and those of human relationships, eliminating the dimension of space-time, and accelerating all processes, economic and cultural, in the digital sense, so that what happens on the other side of the world today is virtually present, communicable and visible in real time in the place where you live.

Through these media, all human tragedies caused by war, enter our houses overwhelmingly and in real time. Therefore the war has become a social phenomenon, with inevitable repercussions on the collective imagination, the customs, culture, and art.

These considerations have led to an art exhibition on the topic of the war. Its narration, both historical and contemporary, changes language and becomes artistic; storytelling becomes a vision.

In the exhibition War Signs, nationally and internationally renowned artists portray their personal vision of war by means of paintings, photographs, sculptures and installations.
