MAG Museo Alto Garda

Free admission on the first Sunday of the month

The #domenicalmuseo (Sunday at the museum) is back: the initiative of the Italian Ministry of Culture and of the Autonomous Province of Trento offers free admission to museums, state archaeological parks and provincial museums. Thanks to this project of the Ministry, all visitors can benefit from a unique initiative to foster awareness of Italy's cultural heritage.

The Museum of Riva del Garda joins this initiative and, during its opening times from 10.00 to 18.00, everybody can visit for free the Art Gallery, the archaeological section and the contemporary history section, which through numerous artifacts, paintings and photographs tells the story of this area over the millennia.

Let us remind you that from October the MAG opening times are the following:

Museum and Apponale Tower: Tue - Sun, from 10.00 to 18.00 

Fort Garda will be open only at weekends: Fri - Sun, from 10.00 to 17.00

The MAG Museo Alto Garda is comprised of the Museum of Riva del Garda, which looks directly onto the lake itself, and the G. Segantini City Gallery in Arco. The Rocca of Riva del Garda, an ancient medieval castle standing on the lakeside, is home to the headquarters of the Mag Museum with its three permanent sections, spaces for temporary exhibitions, and the workshop itinerary known as ‘INvento', designed for younger visitors and their families.
