Jazz'About

With seven concerts - included in the agenda of the Auditorium Theatre of Trento and of Melotti Theatre of Rovereto - the new Jazz'About Season aims at expanding its audience with Black Music, which gave birth to Jazz, Blues, Soul and R & B.

Four concerts will take place at the Auditorium Theatre of Trento; the other three ones will take place at the Melotti Theatre of Rovereto.

The following artists will be on stage: Marcos Valle, a protagonist of the Brazilian music; Cinematic Orchestra, combining Soul with electronics; Roy Ayers, famous Californian singer and vibraphonist; Mulatu Astatke, charismatic band leader from Ethiopia; Bugge Wesseltoft from Norway, one of the most important names in the scenario of jazz piano of the most recent years; Robert Glasper, talented pianist and Matthew Herbert, musician and experimenter, who can turn the classic canons upside-down, taking them into a joyful and challenging future.
