Feminist futures
For the third year, the Feminist Futures School will offer workshops and meetings that rewrite the ways in which knowledge is transmitted and, more importantly, the people who transmit it and the people who receive it. Free of a true and single discipline, Feminist Futures School is envisioned as an expanded program in which not only the participants but the institution itself has the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, learn new criticalities and ways of working.
On Saturday, the school opens with artist Mihaela Drăgan and her writing workshop on formulating a feminist spell, which will be echoed by researcher Sara Marchesi, who will present Feminism or Death, Françoise d’Eaubonne’s book, translated into Italian for the first time. On Sunday, artist Chiara Bersani will lead a workshop on the political and poetic folds of disabled bodies, followed by a meeting between Muna Mussie and curator Zasha Colah, who will speak about festivals in relation to the Eritrean diaspora in Italy.
